I got bored and made myself a website

so. i got bored and made myself a website. that's the whole origin story, enjoy your stay.
what even is this
it's a pastel little corner of the internet that pulls in whatever i'm up to. it has two moods: Flower, which is all pinks and lavender, and Darling, which is moody crimson on near-black. flip between them with the button in the top bar (or Ctrl+K and type "switch").
the live bits
- the status cards on the home page read my Discord and Spotify live, plus the local time in London.
- the Gacha page shows my in-game showcases for Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero and Genshin, pulled straight from Enka. it even counts how many of my relic, disc and artifact substat rolls are actually useful for each character, which i'm weirdly proud of.
- Playing is my Steam profile.
- Minecraft is the AureusMC server status and a gallery of builds i've made.
the cats
Fishing is the part that got out of hand. it started as a wish simulator and turned into an idle game: you catch fish, spend them on wishes, and every cat you pull can go fishing in the pond for you. 5-star cats fish the best, and every duplicate you merge into a cat makes it faster. there are 60 of them and i drew every single face.
things that broke
- an environment variable with an invisible character at the start of it took production down for a bit. a whole evening, for one invisible character.
- the vines at the sides of the page turned into black blobs in some browsers because they don't read CSS variables inside SVG attributes the way Chrome does.
- Steam's profile page randomly refuses to answer sometimes, so the site now asks a few times before giving up.
what's next
more cats, a proper write-up for each project in the portfolio, and probably fixing whatever i just broke. if you spot something weird, it's probably on the list already.
thanks for reading, and enjoy your stay.
